Lamentations of a Math Geek

I hate writing essays for school.

I don't know quite what it is, but I don't like my own writing. I can't just sit down and crank out a paper. I can't even bear to look at my paper afterwards, let alone revise it. (For the record, I'm pretty good at revising other people's papers. I usually catch quite a few gramar mistakes.)

To cut to the chase, I'm late on an English essay. I can hide around "being sick" (see last post), but I really need to get the sucker done.

It isn't the first time.

bleh.

I went home from school early on friday becuase I was getting sick. I was feeling really hot and really cold and like I was about to faint.

That all ended after friday, but now I've got this killer sore throat. I've been taking Advil for the past few days, and about 30 cough drops in all. They've helped soothe the symptoms, but this accursed sore throat won't go away.

Perhaps it'll be better tomorrow. I hope.
